satellite tv?
I live in a 2 family flat. If I install satellite tv will my neighbor use it also (she steals from us), or does it only work if you have the reciever?

- It only works if you have the receiver. Your neighbor wouldn't be able to steal it.
- The satellite dish receives the TV signal (similar to the way a TV antenna does) The frequencies received are much higher than a TV set can use so inorder order to decode the signal and use it you must have the proper satellite receiver. Now you can share the antenna, that is have the dish feed more than one receiver, with a multi-switch. (a special splitter) http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/58-10860 You will still need a receiver for each TV set.
- need the receiver and codes. call the company and they can verify. (btw, your answer to the bush/pope question was the funniest thing i ever read on y/a. keep it up.)
